If We don’t Resist our Negative Feelings
All feelings are okay; it’s what we do with our feelings that matters. We don’t need to resist or repress our feelings of sadness or fear. Instead, we just accept them as part of our humanness. In this way, we validate our entire emotional self. We know that we don’t have to be happy all the time to be okay. If we don’t resist our negative feelings, they go away more quickly.
