Liking someone is not in one’s hand. If you start to feel for someone it usually happens unintentionally. You have no control over it. You might not even get to know yourself when exactly you actually started having a crush on that someone who didn’t even exist in your life a while ago. She is choosing him over you every time:
You decide to have coffee and a warm comforting doughnut with her after class, thinking you might get to know each other better but then this other guy comes into the picture who she obviously has been drooling over, and guess what? All the attention is hijacked by this male enemy. The girl is more than happy talking to him and doesn’t even care about the fact that you are sitting right next to her. Always changing the topic:
So, you finally grew a pair and started to confess that you like her too much and want to be with her. What does she do? Cuts you in between and bails out of the scene saying she has an important class to attend? If that is what really happened then you might want to change your college or start to dig your own grave. She totally rejected your proposal and that’s not it, you even find out that she said yes to a random boy she has been eyeing. You are now not only friend zoned but also rejected . Not spending time with you:
You have poured your heart out in front of her and you are obviously expecting her to respect it and in return at least meet you more often and make fun plans with you. But what does she do? She goes clubbing instead and that too with the same guy you secretly think she likes. All this should make it very clear that you have fallen for this girl who you have no chance with, because she is obviously focusing on someone else and is totally interested in dating him. Start to be out of touch:
It’s been a month since you last met her and went out to chill? She has started to ignore your calls and texts? You have obviously been misreading the signs. After confessing all those feelings you had for her she still decides to ignore you and starts to stay out of touch then obviously she has no interest in you.

Sit and talk:
Okay, we know this didn’t go as you planned. So what? Man, stand up and talk to her. Tell her how you feel and in return get to know how she feels about it. If she is interested in you she will definitely not put neglect you and if she gives clear indications that she doesn’t like you back the wisest thing to do is to back off. No girl or in that matter a guy would want to force herself into liking someone. Because these things come naturally to you, you should leave the decision to the other person. If they like you they would let you know and if they don’t then also they will. Once you are clear in the head you must act in a mature way and let her be happy with whoever she wants to be with and that’s the best thing you could do for her and more importantly, yourself. Move on:
You don’t have to sit and sob for the person who didn’t like you back. We know it’s heartbreaking to not be able to be with that one person you like so much but this is not the end of the world. You shouldn’t become a loner and get depressed in life. In fact you should go out and make new friends. Party like never before and make the most out of your life.
It’s not necessary that the person whom you like will like you back and that’s what keeps everything interesting. You shouldn’t hide your feeling and not confess to the other person but if you get to know they don’t like you enough to be with you then you should respect that and move on.
