Beauty of the Broken
When have you started caressing the rusty metals of an old gate as if it’s freshly painted? When have you admired the fallen leaves on the dusty road? Having no idea whether it’s because of her obsession with optimism did she started to notice that people, even those whom she might call her haters, were not completely bad in her sight. At some point, she might silently giggle or smile at a habit or movement a person has been making even if it’s pretty normal for others. There are also instances when she would admire their appearances and think of how equally beautiful every person is in the hallways and roads she had passed by. We wonder why we can still see the positive one among a crowd of negatives on a person or a thing. As someone who is not yet old enough and experienced, i wouldn’t know the real reason behind this yet. For now, it would be best to say that it is a healthy exercise of your perspective because from the way you describe others in your point of view, you could always get an easier chance to understand others up to the deepest of their personalities. That way, interactions and relationships will get better, more exciting, and more healthy-living.
