A good, happy relationship is what every girl of wishes for. Yes, love, romance and the perfect wedding is every girl’s dream, but it is all on the bucket list! Right now, I just want to take things as they come along.
I have been through bad break ups and even heard the bogus line of “it is not you, it is me.” I have had my boyfriends lie to me and seen my girl friends get cheated upon. Now if I come across a guy like this, it is obvious where the relationship is headed- downhill. So lying and cheating are a total deal breaker; and this is not only for me, but any girl. Now that I’ve cleared out the main relationship spoiler that may affect our prospects, I’ll tell you about the deal makers – I want to be respected and cared for, and the most important – give space! Based on my experiences and observations I have evaluated that a couple leads a happy life only when both the individuals respect each other’s personality and personal choices. So whether I wish to go out for a girl’s night out, or you want your time with the guys, or you need to travel a lot to make a career or I wish to take a backpacking trip –we both need to be okay with our choices. I think, just because I am dating you it doesn’t mean that my life revolves around you; and the same goes for me! However, you didn’t think I’m that easy, did you? Just because I said I need space and will give it too, please don’t think that you can go ahead and take our relationship for granted. I certainly am practical, but I am a girl after all. So when it comes to romance, attentions and affection – I wish for all this to make our relationship. What’s life without some surprises like a bouquet of fresh lilies on any day, or walking hand-in-hand on a deserted street at midnight or a karaoke song dedicated to me! As far as commitment is concerned – I think it is best to go with the flow. I may turn out be madly in love with you, or you may be head over heels for me; things are working out very well, but we need to move at a comfortable pace. I don’t want to behave like those immature teenagers and just jump into love! Love is a very strong feeling which most of us under-estimate! ‘Live the way you want, because YOLO!’ this is my motto in life! So I will like you for who you are, love you for who you aim to become and respect you for the choices you make. Of course, this is what I expect in return as well. You cannot force anyone to listen to you or dominate someone’s choices because we live in a world where man and woman are seen as one today. So I don’t wish to scare you or come across as a dominating personality, but throw any male chauvinist traits you are holding onto if you want to live happily with me.
